At the unveiling of the TOD Undergraduate scholarship award committee, the Senator enjoined the members to be thorough, fair and meticulous in discharging their duties

and the committee had started work on candidate verification from their respective institutions, saying Selection of winners of the scholarship would be done by the Committee”

While commending the Committee for job done so far, Sen. Odebiyi said “First and foremost, I’m very passionate about education. Having had the privilege of having parents who were both educationists, I felt the greatest contribution I can make in lifting people in Ogun West out of poverty is by creating opportunities for them to be educated. Unfortunately, one of the hinderances of furthering their education is the lack of funds and it is in this regards that I created the Tolu Odebiyi Undergraduate Scholarship fund”.

“If you look at Ogun state, among the three districts, all the indices both economically and educationally, do not favour us. This administration is making efforts towards correcting this anomaly.

This is the first step in the line of many initiatives under consideration towards economic development of Ogun West” the passionate Senator said.
